Since the year began, we’ve been raving about our summer camp guide and all the cool camps available for uptowners. Never would any of us predict what Spring 2020 would bring. Nor were we prepared for the closures of many camps and summer programs. While things have taken a drastic shift for the unpredictable, we are still here. And there are camps that have made the transition into the virtual world.

The Uptown Birdies Camp Guide is still HERE! and it’s free!

We are in the process of updating our listings constantly. Be sure to check our Camp Guide frequently for updates. We’ve added camps that we would appeal to our own young birdies and yours. Our Camp Guide is not complete as of yet!, but you should be prepared. Below are some tips for finding the right camp for your family.

Tips on finding the right camp:

  • In our guide, you may browse through all of the camps or make use of our category buttons at the top of the page. Just click on the category you’re looking for and all applicable camp offerings will appear. So whether you’re looking for a sports camp, an art camp, or something for teens, we’ve got you covered!
  • We’ve covered all the bases for you – including price, sessions/weeks offered, specific location addresses, and more. So read through all info to make certain a camp is right for you. And if you have any other questions, contact info for each camp is listed.
  • During this process, we learned that non-profit camps tend to have free or fairly priced options. These organizations sometimes receive grant money and can offer financial aid for enrollees. Use the “free and affordable” keyword button to view all non-profits.
  • If you’re interested, make contact! Camp spots go fast, so if you’re interested, let the camp know asap. Even if it’s just an inquiry.
  • Don’t see anything you like? Return back as we’ll be adding camps along the way.

Our guide will continue through to August! Be sure to subscribe for up-to-date info.
